TESTIMONIALS

Mike Nyberg - Springfield Virginia

Two jobs:
1. Tear down 18' x 8' non-load bearing wall, redirect four heating/ac vents, build bulk head for vents, install four track lighting fixtures, drywall, and finish for painting.
2. Rebuild torn out drywall which covered main water valve in basement, install two mini access doors for water valves, stain doors, replace water damaged 4'' x 12' base boards, stain boards.

Comments: The Project Manager and his workers are absolutely first rate. Perhaps it is the best in the business. The Project Manager supervised the work and continuously checked with my wife and me if we were satisfied with the progress. Last minute changes we made were no problem. The Project Manager got two estimates for unexpected HVAC work (wise move on his part). Thank you ! Please e-mail me at manyberg5@cox.net for references

Eugenia Pastor - Georgetown, Washington DC

My house is a 3-story federal style house built in 1836 which required extensive remodeling due to water damage. The main tasks were: Electrical: rewire the entire house. Plumbing: redo the entire plumbing system. HVAC: redo the entire system. Remodeling: redo two bathrooms (new fixtures including a whirlpool and an automatic toilet, anti-fog heated mirrors, plumbing, tiling, wallpaper, underfloor heating). Install hardwood floors. Repair a staircase (support the steps, replace part of the handrail). Insulation, drywalling, ceilings, crown moldings

Comments: As general contractor, they brought in different tradesmen to do the jobs. He managed the job from beginning to end, sequencing the tasks in order to minimize delays. The Project Manager ran into several problems caused by previous contractors (failure to obtain proper permits, poorly executed work which had to be redone) and resolved all problems without inconveniencing me. The Project Manager was very responsive and took responsibility for his subcontractors' work. He always ensured that the quality of their work was acceptable to me, and where necessary ensured that the subcontractors made modifications or re-work requested by me, without charging extra. When he went on vacation, he left me his foreman's phone number as well as his e-mail address in case I had any problems. A problem came up, and his foreman responded right away.

Total kitchen remodel, including cabinet installation, floor installation, electrical upgrades, painting, partial wall removal, and plumbing.

Comments: Overall it went really well, and very smoothly. We presented Lofft with our plan to completely renovate our 1952 kitchen, replacing everything and removing part of the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room. The owner was so accommodating and put us at ease immediately about the project (our first of this scale), and our contract included a pleasantly short time frame for completion. The Project Manager has high quality control and standards, and is very accommodating and flexible with clients, and definitely personable. We felt very comfortable with his team of workers, who are polite, professional, and conscientious (they put up with our barking Sheltie too). We feel lucky to have had this kind of experience with a major renovation project. If you would like more information about our experience you may email me at dehart02@yahoo.com
